Farewell to a retired staff member

Muenselling began 2021 discussing on bidding farewell to a senior staff member who retired by 1st of January, 2021.

Based on the schedule, MI organized farewell lunch for Mr. Tshering Dorji, Senior ADM Assistant on Friday, 5th of February, 2021.

By 12:30 in the afternoon, teachers, staff members and his family members gradually piled into the dining hall for the occasion.

In his address to the floor, the principal informed the floor the services Mr. Tshering Dorji rendered for the nation, despite of his disabilities.

“From today, you are leaving from Muenselling family, yet this is not a new system that you are creating. Each and every one of us must go through this one way or the other,” he said.

Mr. Kelzang Dorji talked to the floor thanking for his great service to the institute.

Mr. Kuenga Chhoegyel informed that they were the pioneer of employment for the blind.

“Advocacy and awareness were beyond imagination,” he said.

“What we are today is entirely due to their effort,” he said.

Mr. Tshering thanked the principal and all the staff members for rendering full support and cooperation for him and his family. The institute presented him a statue of “Dorsem”. His wife and children were also presented token of love from the Muenselling family.

The gathering ended by 2 in the afternoon.
