ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING

In addition to the regular classes, activities of Daily Living, (ADL) are taught. This covers: daily living skills, training in social grace and etiquettes, independent living and personal hygiene, such as washing clothes, vessels, folding and wearing clothes, making beds and sweeping, brushing teeth, and shoe shining, etc. The classes are held once a week from the first grade to the sixth grade. The institute believes that to provide wholesome education and to accomplish the independence living of the visually impaired persons, it is important to teach all aspects of required skills for daily living in the institute.
